Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro with 108 Megapixel Main Camera 120Hz Super Amoled Display and Full Review

Hey guys the Redmi note 11 pro 5g the highest end model in the Redmi line-up with the promise of incredible smartphone experience at the most affordable prices it’s so nice to see the experience we actually get especially considering the price which and once again as anticipated Xiaomi over delivered in terms of specs it’s an impressive list of specs as always but this time they paid further attention to things like the design this right now is my favourite budget smartphone design I absolutely feels really good the brand new Redmi note 11 pro 5g device comes in three different colour options you can pick it up in Polar white, Atlantic blue or the Graphite grey, it looks pretty stunning if you ask me very subtle very stealthy I really like how it shimmers in the light with that grey black finish the camera module looks a tad different to the domestic version with a 5000 milliamp hour battery packed inside with 67 watt turbo line charging a snapdragon 695 chipsets and an ip53 dust and splash protection certification the display has gorilla glass 5 protection we have a plastic frame wrapping around the device and a gloss back it’s just 8.12 millimetres thick and have 202 grams in weight inside that stinky looking camera module it sits in 8 megapixel ultrawide sensor with a field of view of 118 degrees a main 108 megapixel Samsung iso cell hm2 sensor and completing the trio is a 2 megapixel macro sensor the 8 megapixel ultrawide still looks okay the main 108 megapixel looks pretty good looks indeed better with nine to one binning it down to 12 megapixels same thing can be said with two times zoom since you can capture it at 108 or 12 megapixels once we go to five times zoom things do not look the stylish and 10 times is the max zoom and formerly again does not look the stylish but this is a enough budget friendly phone so I will forgive it for that bone the macro lens does an okay job I guess you could say but the portrait mode actually does a pretty dam good job with nearly decent edge detection we do have 1080p at 30 fps back recording unfortunately no 4k here and no 60 fps which is a bit of a bummer since the domestic version does support 4k 30 as well as 1080p 60 but the domestic version is also circumscribing its ultrawide camera at 1080p 30 which is what this device is doing so though it does not look the worst that I have seen around the cameras are a bit of a mixed bag but I mean it’s accessible this phone is really well priced we have a power button mixed up with their fingerprint sensor on the right hand side as well as a volume rocker at the bottom we do have a dual sim 5g standby tray it does have a water resistant seal and does support micro sd, expandable storage up to one terabyte we have a usb port at the bottom as well as the first dual stereo speaker second one at the top both paired with Dolby Atmos a 3.5 headphone jack which is a big plus over here as well as an ir blaster and within that punch hole at the top of the screen it sets a 16 megapixel f2.4 selfie camera the selfies come out all right I guess you could say and the bokeh effect does not do the stylish in terms of edge detection but it still kind of looks a bit natural but it’s limited at 1080p and 30 fps when recording using the selfie cam but this is a pretty well priced device so it’s accessible let me know what you guys think of the audio and video quality when recording using the selfie-cam on the brand new Redmi note 11 pro 5g it’s a bit of a bummer since the global version does actually support 60 fps at 1080p selfie recording so I guess we will have to forgive that once again in this global version we do have a side mounted fingerprint sensor which is physical not underneath the display despite it being a 6.67 inch amoled panel which packs in 395 pixels per inch thanks to its full hd plus resolution dci p3 colour gamut rating and hdr 10 support 1200 nits of max brightness and 120 hertz refresh rates you can choose between 60 and 120 but do note that this is a fixed refresh rate and it cannot stoutly or adaptively acclimate between say 10 and 120 if it’s at 120 it’s always at 120 but we are also kitted with 360 hertz a touch sampling rate to make things nice and snappy when moving around your finger on your device we are also slighted with miui 13. now this time skinned over android 11 and not android 12 strangely enough there are google services over here and they work pretty well as you did expect since this is the global version of the device and miui 13 is enough decent it’s actually lower about features and more about optimizations which leads us to eight gigs of lpddr4 x ram that can be optimized to use an extra three gigs of ram extension however do bear in mind this uses the ufs storage on board and powering the device is the new six nanometer snapdragon 695 octa- core chipset and apparently has 15 faster processing and when you move over to the battery settings we now have a new performance mode which was actually introduced within miui12.5 and thanks to this being a Xiaomi device we can enable an fps counter within the developer options and it has no frames per alternate cap we are ranging between 86 and 120 frames per second and for such a budget friendly phone that is more than impressive if you ask me but now it’s time to give a listen to those dual stereo speakers paired with Dolby Atmos.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro with 108 Megapixel Main Camera 120Hz Super Amoled Display and Full Review

The Redmi note 11 pro 5g has truly stepped up Xiaomi’s mid-range member game thanks to its better optimized software further than decent Performance in terms of benchmarks and gaming thanks to the new snapdragon 695 chipset which is further than able of running its 120hz 6.67 inch amoled display that packs in accurate colours and extremely high brightness levels its design is nice and subtle with a hint of elegance and its refined camera module houses a camera system that takes more than decent photos and videos at this price range though 4k resolution or 60 fps video recording would have been nice to see the star of the show still is its huge 5000 milliamp battery capacity and extremely fast 67 watt turbo charging making it easy for me to recommend the Redmi note 11 pro 5g to anyone looking for one of the stylish mid-range budget friendly smartphones in hand we have got gorilla glass 5 on the back with matte finish we indeed get headphone jack and ir blaster along with stereo speakers and the whole design is ip53 splash resistant we still have a side pigment scanner which I actually prefer over in- display optical scanner I got to say this stylish favourite feature about this phone because the first one is it surely is battery and fast charging speed which is 67 watts you can get about 50 battery in just 15 minutes which is crazy and not to forget that 5000 millibar battery promises a comfortable day plus usage without breaking a sweat I am really glad that they included this 67 watt now display wise once again it’s a bright amoled 120Hz screen with 360hz touch sampling rate6.7 inch in size punch hole in the centre a pretty bright colourful screen with a peak brightness of 1200 nits I was really curious to see consistently throughout the usage and I am happy to report that there were no issues in the chipset inside is the most efficient chip we have ever seen in a Redmi phone so it’s a six nanometer snapdragon 695 processor it’s a balance of effectiveness and decent performance I have been able to play all the games with no pause on medium to high settings with 30 plus fps it does get a little hard to the touch when you do prolonged gaming sessions but it did not really affect the performance of the game it’s not a huge step over from the former generation but it’s a good one and it’s also efficient now out of the box this phone is running android 11 but as of now Xiaomi is rolling out the android 12 update so you do not have to worry about the latest version now miui looks pretty fresh a lot of people like this look personally but I do like some elements of this software ui also you do get bloatware applications which you can uninstall so it’s not an issue at this point it’s just a trade-off for that super affordable price now let’s talk about the cameras we’ve the 108 megabytes Samsung hm2 sensor on this thing it’s actually the same sensor as the last year’s model and that is not a bad thing because it’s still a enough good sensor for this price you can completely depend on this main camera to perform in nearly all kind of situations especially the night mode now I wish they upgraded the ultra-wide angle lens it’s still coming at 8 megapixels which is kind of soft in tough lighting scenarios we also have a 2 megapixel macro lens which is slight downgrade from the former generation and it still produces usable images and nothing more than that on the front we have a 16 megapixel sensor which is another area where I wish they did some upgrade overall considering the super affordable price of this phone I think it still got a enough good camera experience so what is the verdict well the Redmi note 11 pro 5g is formerly again a solid budget phone conceivably the budget phone of the year I think it was enough considering how good it was value-wise but I still felt that the design language demanded to be said which they did with the new Redmi note 11 pro it feels extra premium in hand and crazy battery life and amazing fast charging plus 5g ready experience for ultra-fast internet performance which is of course great for longevity for me this is surely the peak of how good a Redmi phone can be as of now with the current price. The Redmi note 11 pro showed up at expert halls for review the fresh snapdragon 695 run in the show a lot of the Redmi note 11 pro 5g sounds horribly familiar that massive 120hz amoled screen the 108 megapixel Samsung hm2 camera sensor the 5000 milliamp battery all basically lifted from last time’s Redmi note 10 pro and the Redmi note 11 pro is a proper handful and a half this 6.7 inch and you are basically stylish off using two hands at all times apparently flat edges are back in fashion because that is what Xiaomi’s gone with here just like the Vivo V23 the Iphones indeed the Galaxy s22 sports similar kind of design and while the Redmi is not as compact as the s22 it does not feel as chunky as uncomfortable to clutch still it’s surely not the hardest of budget blowers despite the fact you have got a gorilla glass 5 display on  there is a very distinct scratch on there definitely slap on a screen protector and meanwhile around back that plastic end has got a bit like scratching as well as your Redmi note 11 pro getting all nicked and scuffed on this budget blower is also ip53 splash resistant the Redmi note 11 pro comes rocking the older android 11 rather than the fresh new android 12 which some rivals do come with out of specifically name because they are  currently under embargo apparently the android 12 global rollout is happening right the latest miui 13 launcher is a perfectly likable experience.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro with 108 Megapixel Main Camera 120Hz Super Amoled Display and Full Review

The Redmi note 11 pro’s the edge mounted fingerprint sensor it acts fast and it works well as long as your hands are dry you’ve got face recognition as a reliable backup as well and as far as the storage goes we’ve got 128 gigs of internal space stuffed in here and you can expand that via micro sd memory card up to a further terabyte if you find yourself running low although bear in mind that that micro sd memory card slot is shared with the second sim slot so you can’t use dual sims and expand the memory at the same time now compared with last year’s Redmi note 10 pro, the Redmi note 11 pro once again packs a really huge 6.67 inch amoled panel which punches above its weight at this price point the full hd plus resolution keeps visuals crisp despite the spacious size and you can pump up the vibrancy if you like it really poppy the screen can hit a higher peak brightness compared with the previous generation as well so it’s admittedly the automatic brightness wasn’t quite fool proof I did find that sometimes in the evenings it would dim down a little bit too low so I did have to manually boost it back up again just to make things comfortable and despite the fact this is an amoled panel you have till got refresh rate support all the way up to 120hz so any apps that can take advantage of that will look silky smooth the stereo speaker setup is one of the best you will find at this price point it’s proper loud on top volume but that audio is still clear so podcast videos whatever you’re enjoying will actually be enjoyed your Bluetooth 5.1 support on here as well I had absolutely zero issues when streaming and yes you do have a headphone jack up top on the Redmi note 11 pro as well if you want a backup option or you just want to make the most of your high fidelity tracks now the Redmi note 11 pro smartphone that say for a 600 series this thing serves up some serious grunt every day running is impeccable while gamers can chuck on basically whatever they like even proper full-on android fare like gentian impact you will need to keep the graphics settings on law for that one but the results are proper impressive compared with many budget rivals that mighty screen supports 360hz touch sampling and Xiaomi’s liquid cool tech combined with the general efficiency of the 695 means that the Redmi note 11 pro doesn’t get toasty even with all-day play pick up the gaming tools as well which are now clearly labelled so you don’t have to mash random icons in the hope of finding the one that you actually need because the full title of this thing is officially the Redmi note 11 pro 5g it probably won’t come as a massive shock to learn that you have got 5g support built into that snapdragon 695. so let’s move on to the battery life and you’ve got 5000 milliamp capacity cells stuffed inside of here just as with the previous generation and once again it’s an absolute winner found that most days I ended with around 35 to 40 battery charge remaining and now on to the final bit of this highly thrilling review the cameras and that primary sensor is once again the 108 megapixel Samsung hm2 shooting 12 mega images on full auto with nine in one pixel binning some impressive specs but the Redmi note 11 pro aren’t infallible in strong contrast it certainly can struggle a bit although it still performs well versus many of its budget rivals limiting the saturation that you’ll see so your shots aren’t washed out and a bit crap with good lighting you will capture plenty of detail on auto while living subjects generally don’t blur even if they’re refusing to stay still unless you swap to the portrait mode in which case they really do need to stop flapping about the place colour reproduction is reasonably natural for a cheaper handset certainly good enough to suit most fork and if you want a close-up view of a distant subject don’t pinch in just swap to the 108 megapixel mode and then crop your shot afterwards and you’ll get commendably crisp results move indoors however and your photos will occasionally suffer with softer grainier results overall and you will get blur when you’re shooting anything that has mobility and also free will but be patient take a few shots and one of them at least should come out well and while you do have a night mode for your proper low light picks this doesn’t really do much at all to be honest the Redmi note 11 pro also packs in an 8 megapixel ultra-wide angle shooter and everything in frame if you’re trying to capture some winging huge like this but colour tones do take another hit and last up for that triple lens setup is a highly thrilling 2 megapixel macro lens if you really want to shoot crappy looking shots and things really up close that’s your thing well it’s decent for picks one of the disadvantages of the Redmi note 11 pro is the video mode which max out at full hd resolution there is no 4k shooting on this motor as a result my footage looked a bit blah compared with what I captured on some other Redmi rivals videos lack detail and if you move and shoot at the same time the stabilization aren’t great either and if you’re filming inside or in lower light those visuals are even more blurry but still audio pickup is strong even on a breezy day so that’s a definite plus and last up there’s a 16 megapixel selfie snapper around front it’s not great it’s all right again you get quite soft results as far as the detail levels go but whatever and it’s the same story with the front facing shooter as far as the video goes as well once again you top off at full hd resolution so detail levels not great probably good when you are working with a mug like this but the audio pickup is absolutely fine and that in a nutshell is the Redmi note 11 pro after I have been using it for a full week and the camera tech in quite perfect either but you know what, the performance is fantastic the battery life is great. Well, I hope you found the information valuable so please share your thoughts in the comment section below.
